BBL Hospitality and the affiliated BBL Family of Companies are deeply involved with the many communities where we operate. From our earliest operations to the present day, we have always been actively involved in family, sports, health, education, and many forms of aid to those in need. We actively encourage and support our employees in giving some of their energy and talent to deserving causes in their communities. We also are active corporate sponsors for major charities through the BBL Charitable Foundation.

“The way you’ve championed this organization over the years has not gone unnoticed. You have always been there for us with selfless donations of time, energy, and services. The BBL Family of Companies has always impressed me – not only with your great and longstanding success in business, but also your commitment to philanthropy in the area that stands as an inspiration to our staff and individuals.” – Fredrick W. Erlich, CEO, Living Resources

BBL Hospitality Chef Takes Home Award From Prestigious Local Event

The Daily Gazette held their annual “A Taste of the Capital Region” event on April 28th. The event featured gourmet foods and beverages from the best professional and amateur chefs, and vendors in the Capital Region. A wide variety of appetizers, entrees, desserts, wines and specialty beers provided something for everyone. The over 300 attendees were invited to try all the food and drinks they desired. All funds raised by the event go to youth development programs for over 12,000 children across 20 locations and extensions in Schenectady County.

During the event was a chef competition judged by the Glens Falls Chapter of the American Culinary Federation. BBL Hospitality’s own Chad Montgomery won the dessert competition. Chad is our Dessert Pastry Chef at the Rensselaer Banquet Facility at the Hilton Garden Inn Troy. Congratulations Chad!
