BBL Hospitality’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Carrie Hillenbrandt, and Director of Restaurant Sales, Sarah Quinn, are both very involved in American Heart Associations Go Red For Women, and have chaired/co-chaired past Go Red For Women Luncheons.

Each February on Wear Red Day, the lead BBL Companies efforts in raising awareness for the cause. Did you know:

  • Cardiovascular diseases and stroke cause 1 in 3 women’s deaths each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds.
  • An estimated 44 million women in the U.S. are affected by cardiovascular diseases.

BBL Hospitality Opens Recovery Sports Grill East Greenbush

BBL Hospitality opened their 12th Recovery Sports Grill in East Greenbush on Thursday, Nov. 3. The restaurant is located adjacent to the Regal Cinemas in the Rensselaer County Plaza off of Troy Road, and is part of the ‘Gen 3’ style of stores featuring modern finishes, new concepts and a 100+ inch projection screen behind it’s bar.


The restaurant introduced a new menu, featuring guest favorites as well as brand new items. RSG East Greenbush comes with much anticipation and is excited to be a part of the East Greenbush community. Visit to see more on the newest restaurant.


BBL Breaks Ground on Newest Recovery Sports Grill

BBL Hospitality, BBL Construction Services and building partners, along with members of the East Greenbush community gathered on Monday, May 16 for a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the newest Recovery Sports Grill, located in the Rensselaer County Plaza in East Greenbush. The sports grill will be the 12th owned and operated unit for the Albany-based restaurant group, and ninth in New York.


On Tuesday, Apr. 26, Marriott announced their 2015 guest service performance awards. BBL Hospitality had three hotels receive awards.

BBLH Chef’s Take Home Multiple Awards at Cuisine Magic 2016


BBL Hospitality Executive Chefs Geri-Ann Mastromarino and Thomas Gulbrandsen cleaned how at the Cuisine Magic 2016 “Magic of Americana” event benefiting Eddy Visiting Nurse Association, held at the Albany Marriott on Sunday, Mar. 20. Chef Mastromarino from the Hilton Garden Inn, Troy and Rensselaer Banquet Facility finished first in the appetizer round, third for the entrée round and received the People’s Choice Award, while Chef Thomas Gulbrandsen and team walked away with a third place finish in the appetizer round and first in the entrée round.

Chefs Mastromarino and Gulbrandsen competed along side some of the area’s best chefs and restaurants, including: Chef Eric Bolton, The Century House, Latham; Chef Steven Gatzen, Flik Lifestyles; Executive Chef Nathan Kutzscher, Albany Marriott, Albany; Executive Chef Carmelo LoPorto, LoPorto’s Ristorante Caffé, Troy; Chef Brad Stevens, B-rads Bistro & Catering, Troy.
