BBLH Chef’s Take Home Multiple Awards at Cuisine Magic 2016

BBL Hospitality Executive Chefs Geri-Ann Mastromarino and Thomas Gulbrandsen cleaned how at the Cuisine Magic 2016 “Magic of Americana” event benefiting Eddy Visiting Nurse Association, held at the Albany Marriott on Sunday, Mar. 20. Chef Mastromarino from the Hilton Garden Inn, Troy and Rensselaer Banquet Facility finished first in the appetizer round, third for the entrée round and received the People’s Choice Award, while Chef Thomas Gulbrandsen and team walked away with a third place finish in the appetizer round and first in the entrée round.

Chefs Mastromarino and Gulbrandsen competed along side some of the area’s best chefs and restaurants, including: Chef Eric Bolton, The Century House, Latham; Chef Steven Gatzen, Flik Lifestyles; Executive Chef Nathan Kutzscher, Albany Marriott, Albany; Executive Chef Carmelo LoPorto, LoPorto’s Ristorante Caffé, Troy; Chef Brad Stevens, B-rads Bistro & Catering, Troy.
